Responsibilities

 

  • Serving as primary support liaison between company and user.
  • Resolving users' application questions or problems in the areas of software configurations/setup, product functionality and bugs/enhancements.
  • Create technical documents published into an extensive customer learn server.
  • Participating in online, company sponsored Discussion Groups.
  • Keeping user informed of how and when problems are resolved.
  • Involved in any additional follow up, testing and trouble shooting.
  • Responsible for appropriate referral to other support and quality assurance areas.
  • Conveying user feedback to product development staff.
  • Promoting and maintaining a high quality, professional, service oriented company image among users.
  • May be required to travel to customer sites on occasions.

 

Skills Required

 

  • Degree or equivalent in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • 2 years previous work experience within the Engineering sector preferred
  • Experience of using Hevacomp, Energy+ or other Building Services Design software
  • A high level of Technical knowledge in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge / experience working with CAD software a distinct advantage
  • Excellent relationship building skills, this is a customer facing role and therefore
  • Requires the hightest levels of professionalism and service to end users  
  • A strong communicator, both written and spoken
  • Excellent IT skills required
  • Able to work against challenging performance metrics
  • Analytical and logical thinker, with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Previous technical support experience would be an advantage
  • Team player, able to work in a multilingual and international environment
  • Fluency in English essential
