My client is recruiting for an online business executive, working in the marketing department with strong sales experience. The Online Marketing Executive will be responsible for the creation and management of content on group brand website, on all third party websites and online directories, assisting the Online Marketing Manager, organisation of PPC and SEO campaigns with external agency, execution of email campaigns, reporting on online marketing activities, identifying and recommending new online opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting the Online Marketing Manager with online marketing strategy and web development projects.
* Identifying new online opportunities.
* Optimisation of the website to maintain and improve search engine rankings.
* Managing group affiliate program.
* Managing content updates on all third party websites and online directories.
* Organisation and execution of email campaigns and communications to our clients and members.
* Taking care of the portal sales and all enquires received through the company's website following the sales guide-lines provided by the company.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with existing contacts via telephone calls and emails.
* Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries efficiently.
* Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential customers.
* Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
* Gathering market and customer information, reporting on a regular basis to the office manager.
* Representing the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
* Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.
* Challenging any objections to the product with a view to getting the customer to buy.
* Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
* Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office.
* Collecting information and data of the customers and the market.
* Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
* Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
The ideal candidate:
Will hold a third level qualification in online marketing and/or marketing
Will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in a commercial environment with high level of knowledge in SEO and SEM
Will possess experience with ecommerce sites responsible for driving sales and revenue
Must be proficient in Google Analytics + Google Adwords
Must be highly energetic and enthusiastic
Should be able to demonstrate experience of working with tight deadlines and within budgets
Must have excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
Must have strong written and verbal communications skills
Should be highly motivated and comfortable working independently
Must have a high level of web literacy; knowledge of HTML
Must have experience of online copywriting, web design, website content management systems and design packages an advantage
