IT Audit Senior - Contract Role

Reporting to the Audit Manager with a dotted line to Chief of Internal Audit, our client company has currently an opening for an Audit Senior.
As part of the Technology auditing team,  the candidate will be an acitve and positive part of the team who are responsible for auditing within technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in and/or undertake assignments in order to evaluate and report on the management of risk and the adequacy and effectiveness of systems of control
• Lead assignments for the purposes of development and/or in relation to areas of specialist knowledge/skills, if required
• Identify risks and test related controls to ensure that risk is managed appropriately
• Produce accurate, clear and complete documents
• Present reliable conclusions, supported by evaluation and testing
• Operate to professional standards
• Support other team members through example and instruction
• Make recommendations to improve audit practices, as appropriate

Candidate Experience Required:

• Technical IT audit experience min 4 years.
• Technical experience and/or knowledge of IT processes such as program change and development, system security and operations
• A good understanding of auditing and risk principles and practices
• A good understanding of Sarbanes Oxley legislation
• An achiever, capable of consistently delivering quality work
• Capacity for independent thought and capability to hold own ground
• Capable of analysing data and arriving at fair and balanced conclusions
• Willingness and desire to learn and grow
• Good communication skills and ability to relate well to a range of clients
• CISA Qualification
