Electrical Switchboard Designer

Our client is recruiting a self-motivated Electrical Switchboard Designer for full time employment within their Switchboard Division.

This position is based in Perth, Western Australia at their factory in Malaga, Perth, Western Australia.

This person must be proactive, able to work with deadlines and work within a team environment.

The position offers a variety of work and self-development.

Our client is a medium sized, fast growing Electrical Engineering company located in Malaga, Western Australia.

Preferred Skills:

• Western Australian Grade Electrical Licence (obtained upon arrival)
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to liaise with clients on projects
• Understanding of time management
• Able to read and understand single line and schematic drawings
• Ability to work and liaise with management and supervise switchboard construction
• Drivers Licence
• Min 2 years’ experience - Switchboard Assembly and manufacture
• This person must be proactive, able to work with deadlines and work within a team environment.
• The position offers a variety of work and self-development.

Electrical Switchboard Designer Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Switchboard assembly and manufacture
• Design of Cubic modular systems up to 6500A bus-bar configuration
• Experience in Electrical design of pump control systems
• Fully conversant with Auto CAD electrical
• Custom designed switchboards
• Standalone pump control boards design
• Switch room design
• Ability to problem solve
• Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel
